Project Almond Joy
I recently received an email from Philadelphia Weddings magazine asking me to do a 3 layer cake for a photo shoot for it's Fall/Winter 2009 magazine. Here are some excerpts from the email project:
Hi Paul and Jerie,
Hope this note finds you both well!
I wanted to check in, because we're putting together our upcoming
Fall/Winter 2009 issue of Philadelphia Wedding, and I wanted to see if you'd be interested in participating in our cakes feature?
We're shooting it on April 24th, and the idea is that each baker (we'll have like. As in, the decorations on the cake will inform its flavor.

After we completed the cake, here is the email we received after the cake was delivered.
Hi Jerie,
I hope you’re well!
I just wanted to check in with you and let you know how GORGEOUS your wedding cake was! We all absolutely loved it, and I know the brides reading our magazine will, too.
